Representative Kerry Rich
House District 26 - (Portions of DeKalb & Marshall Counties)
Representative Kerry Rich (R) of Albertville represents House District 26 which includes portions of Marshall and DeKalb County. He is serving his fourth term in the Alabama House of Representatives. He represented Etowah and Cherokee Counties from 1974-78 and Marshall County, District 25 from 1990-94. He was elected to represent Marshall County, District 26 in November of 2010 and was re-elected in 2014.
He also served as Legislative Director from 1996 through 1998 in the administration of Governor Fob James.
Kerry formerly owned and managed radio stations in Arab, Gadsden and Somerset, Kentucky. He is a past president of the Alabama Broadcasters Association.
A member of Hope United Methodist Church in Albertville, Kerry is also active in various civic organizations including the Guntersville Rotary Club. He is a graduate of Southside High School, Gadsden State Community College and attended the University of Alabama. He has one daughter and a granddaughter.
